Streszczenie / Summary:
The aim of this paper is to analyze the accuracy of a sculptured surface after machining. The object of the research was a turbine blade, whose profile has been built based on the different values of the radius of curvature. The object of research in the final machining step was shaped in the process of simultaneous five axis milling with the toroidal cutter. The experiments were carried out on nickel-based alloy INCONEL 718, which is difficult for machining. Variable parameters of the machining process were a radius of curvature of the profile and the lead angle (α) of the tool axis in the direction of feed. The research revealed that both variable radius curvature of the turbine profile and the values of the lead angle have a significant influence on the accuracy of sculptured surface
