This article undertakes the problem of assessing the precision of the assembly robot. There are
presented the dependencies which enable to determine the repeatability positioning of the robot,
which have been verified in experimental tests. There is also offered a method to determine the
most beneficial location, in a workspace, of the assembly stand for the realization of the switching
process of typical machine pieces. In the final part, the results are discussed and conclusions are
formulated.
