The paper presents the method of monofibre rowings selection used in abrasive cutting wheel
reinforcement meshes, developed by the authors. In this method, the authors have applied the
conception of weighted polarisation profiles, supplemented by the results of microscopic observations
of the fibre microstructure. Three weighted polarisation profiles were presented, as created
for carbon, glass, and aramid monofibres, respectively. The results of the applicable calculations
were given in an analytical form and histograms of the evaluation of particular monofibres. The
observation method of monofibre microstructures was also described on the examples of carbon
and aramid monofibres.
